This service lets you speak directly to a prescribing pharmacist about common conditions, such as sore throats, UTIs, skin infections, and shingles, and get treatment or prescription medicine without booking a GP appointment first.
You don’t even need to be registered with a GP to use it. As long as you’ve lived in Scotland for at least three months, you’re eligible. Appointments aren’t required either. You can walk in, or book ahead online if you’d rather plan around your timetable.
Vaccinations, Contraception, and Everyday Support
Beyond Pharmacy First, we offer a range of services that come in handy throughout the academic year. Flu vaccinations are available every autumn, alongside other jabs like HPV, chicken pox, and pneumococcal vaccines. If you’re due one, our team can talk you through it.
