Foundation Pharmacists
Bannerman’s Pharmacy is an recognised NHS Education for Scotland (NES) training provider for Foundation Pharmacy placements.
We currently offer 4 dedicated community pharmacy training placements at our branches in Glasgow (Maryhill and Possilpark) and Kirkintilloch.
We have a team of experienced pharmacist tutors who are also independent prescribers. We also have a lead pharmacist for education and training who coordinates dedicated support for foundation pharmacists including past papers and exam support.
We have a history of training and developing our pharmacy team. The Managing Partner and 6 of our current pharmacy team completed their Foundation Training Year with Bannerman’s Pharmacy
We also have one site which participates in the modular programme which involves six months training in our Possil Pharmacy site and 6 months at the Golden Jubilee Hospital.
