About Us
Bannerman’s Pharmacy is a family run business which has been serving local communities in Central Scotland for over forty years.
Our repeat prescription ordering system is fully computerised and our experienced drivers collect prescriptions on a day to day basis from all our local surgeries and health centres. In addition, we offer home delivery of all patient medicines during week day working hours.
We pride ourselves on employing and retaining well trained, experienced staff and they help us to achieve our aim of providing an efficient and professional service to the public.

I studied pharmacy at Robert Gordon University and graduated in 2021. I then completed my foundation training programme at Bannermans in 2022. In 2023 I became the manager of our Kirkintilloch branch.
I’m currently hoping to enrol in my independent prescribing training now that I have completed the first half of my post-registration foundation programme. I am also looking forward to starting in my teacher practitioner role at Strathclyde university in September.
My favourite thing about Community Pharmacy is that we are so accessible for our patients both local and beyond. I love that we are the first port of call for advice regarding medicine, acute or long-term conditions.
Parissa Rezaie-Khodabandelou
Prescribing Pharmacist
I graduated from the University of Strathclyde with my pharmacy degree in 2019 and became a fully qualified pharmacist the following year. I’m currently back at Strathclyde to do my independent prescribing course, which I hope to finish early 2025.
I completed my pre-registration training with Lloyd’s Pharmacy, and had various roles in my seven years with them. I joined Bannerman’s Pharmacy in June 2023, and currently work in the Woodside branch as manager.
My favourite thing about working in community pharmacy is that everyday is different! I also enjoy working with my team at Woodside, and my other colleagues across the company.
Eve Mcghee
Foundation Pharmacist
I graduated from RGU with my Pharmacy degree in 2022 and become a fully qualified pharmacist in the summer of 2023.
I have worked with Bannerman’s since I was 18 across their branches but mainly work out of Kirkintilloch and Possil Pharmacy now as a relief pharmacist. I am currently undergoing
my foundation pharmacist training and hope to begin my training to become a Prescriber in 2025.
My favourite part of working for Bannerman’s is getting to help and care for various patients in the community and learning new things every day. I also love the teams I work with and building relationships with other healthcare professionals!
Nida Kayani
Foundation Pharmacist
I studied pharmacy at Strathclyde university and graduated in 2022. I completed my pre-registration training with Bannermans and qualified as a pharmacist in 2023.
After qualifying, I began my career working with Bannermans as a relief pharmacist across all the branches.
I am currently undertaking my post-registration foundation program with hopes to start my independent prescribing course next year.
My favourite part of community pharmacy is working with a variety of different patients by improving their health outcomes and building positive relationships with the public.
